Thomas Leach – Key Account Manager South (Power)
With almost a decade of experience, Key Account Manager Tom Leach has played a crucial role in expanding our power offering in the South. Tom started his career with us at Frazer, where he joined as an internal sales apprentice in 2014.
Tom explains more about his background:
"I've always been interested in sales, so when the opportunity to do an apprenticeship came up, I jumped in with both feet. It was actually Adrian Lyne, Regional Sales Director for the South West, that put me on to Frazer. He was my football coach and was fed up with me turning up late from my weekend job every Saturday, he mentioned a sales apprenticeship with Frazer. I applied and got the job. I’ve not looked back since. I’ve been here now nearly nine years.”
As Key Account Manager, Tom looks after power in the South, covering an area stretching from Swansea to Norfolk. Tom is now among the most knowledgeable salespeople in the power industry and is keen to drive Jewson Civils Frazer forward in the market. Tom shares with us his view on the future:
“The team is in a really strong place going into 2023. There is a real ambition to grow our proposition and to propel power to the forefront of our business. It’s a dynamic market, with changing demands so every relationship is crucial. I’ve been really fortunate over the years to have been involved in brokering some key partnerships, and long may that continue.
“It's been satisfying during the last year to finally get back out on the road again, meeting customers face-to-face. During the pandemic we had to adapt of course, but nothing beats that human interaction.
“The future is bright and I’m really looking forward to making the most of the opportunities that lie ahead in both existing and upcoming markets. It’s a great time to be a part of this team and I can’t wait to get stuck in.”
